2012 SPRING MODEL WEEK

THORNWICK BAY MODEL AND CRAFT WEEK.  

THE  DATE IS  APRIL 28th to MAY 5th 2012

BY DAY:-  RC tank and indoor helicopter flying sessions. PLUS a Handicrafts Programme will be available daily from Monday.
EVENINGS:- . All Scale Regattas & Free Sailing is on the INDOOR POOL

EXTRA THIS YEAR; BRING A "POP POP"  WE WILL BE SAILING THROUGH THE DAY IN MIDWAY MODELS ON SITE MODEL SHOP
PLUS the full range of site activities.

All accommodation is in Luxury well equipped caravans and chalets with prices from £190 to £325  inclusive for the week.
Please note that there will be a surcharge of £25 per person / £5 per junior, for those taking part in the Modelling Activities
THORNWICK BAY HOLIDAY CENTER  is just four miles north of Bridlington.

I have been asked by Bridlington Model Boat Society to say that holiday people can obtain a weeks membership to the club for £5 .
There is also to be Yacht racing on the Tuesday.for further information  PM me

I have just been sent details of the Yacht event which will take place at B.M.B.S whilst the Thornwick Holiday is On
 the details are as follows :-  IOM Open Event
                                        Tuesday 1st May Up to 16 Races (Weather permitting)
                                        International One Meter Yachts only Including any yet to be measured/registered
                                        Venue Carnaby Industrial Estate, Lancaster Road YO15 3QY
                                         Briefing: 9.45am
                                         Start :    10.00am
                                         Finish :    3.00pm
                                         Presentation : Wine to the top three skippers

                                         Entry Fee: £2 Payable on the day , before the briefing
                                         Entrys close 9.00pm Thursday 26 April 
                                         Lunch : Pie and Peas , coffee or tea  Price £3 payable when entering
