Yes He is still trading, one of our guys has just recieved some props off him.. He seems to have problems with the ordering system online, Always best to try to ring him, you may need to try a few times but you will get hold of him..

My order of props, shafts and rudder arrived this morning - I did speak to George and he did say he was slowing down as he will reach retirement age
next month.  For his regular customers he suggested we keep his telephone number to contact him direct ( sounds like he may be closing the website)
and he will still be making parts but not on a full time basis

George always seems to have trouble with his site and works at his own pace but if you Email him with your order he will usually reply when he gets time but he is very busy ,
But he makes a good product at a great price.
keep his number for future reference

Regards

Bill :-))

Hi all.  I had been in touch with George Sitek about making some special props and A frames, his last reply was a quote plus asking for a dimenioned sketch of the A frames, which I sent.  However, I have not heard anything back in almost a month, and sent two emails.
His web site now appears to be unreachable.  Does anyone have info if he is still trading, or maybe have a phone number?

Thanks Geoff.  The site seems back up now (?) and I have sent another request form.  If all else fails I will use your PM info.
He is highly recommended on Mayhem, and the Victorian props I need look rather unique.  Fingers crossed  :-))

I have had several items from George, including some brass versions of plastic pros sent as templates.
He has always been very friendly and helpful, and I hav never experienced any timescale problems, though he has also told me he is winding down to retirement.
Hopefully he will still be available for the odd job here and there, would be a shame to loose the skill base.
