After twenty years on top of wardrobes, in cupboards, in the garage and finally 10 years in the loft, the Benjamin john (named after my son) was launched today by my son ben aged twenty nine! His face was a picture. A new battery and a tx kindly donated by Knoby from this site was all that was need. worked first time, only one hitch, the old speed controller started playing up, turned out a joint had come unsoldered.
Taking it to the local club for the spring open day tomorrow.
We both have the boat building bug now, i have three on the bench and he wants a visby corvette!
