I have two 1/10 scale steam launches (Kricks Victoria and Alexandra). But I have no crew.  I estimate the figures need to be about 7 inches (18cm) tall. Where can I find such figures?  I have looked and googled high and low and I cannot find what I want.  I know Krick makes accessory kits but I just need the figures not all the hardware.  Any help is appreciated.

Have you looked in the  'Cheap'  stores at their children's toys section.  I found some figures around 6 or 7 inches tall that were characters from film and TV.  (wrestlers and space people)

You may have to re-clothe them etc, but they might be the size you are looking for.

cheers

Robbe do figures in 1/10 - 1/12 scale, a few places like Cornwall do them

Models Rob 1634, Rob 1635 and maybe a few more. Need to be clothed correctly though.

If you're looking for something special, then try Rob Bennett. Not cheap but you can get exactly what you're after, even a model made of yourself if you want one.  :D .... he's here... http://www.robbennett.org/index.html

Thank you gentlemen for all the prompt replies!  You have given me some good ideas.  Fortunately my wife is an excellent seamstress and I am sure she can fashion some appropriate clothing, should the need arise.
