Desperado OBL
« on: September 30, 2012, 09:31:59 am »

Hi All,

New to the forums and the hobby to be honest.

I just bought a Desperado OBL yesterday which has no batteries. Could anyone give me advice on the best batteries to buy for it as i understand the controller can handle from 4-6 cell but i am not sure if the motor will die using a 6 cell or if i will need a more powerful motor and prop etc. Does anyone here already have one of these boats ?

Also i live in the Lancaster Area and was wondering if anyone knows of any boat lakes available in the area other than the one on morecambe prom which id ok for the small bpats but im guessing i will run out of room very quickly with the Desperado OBL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kindest Regards

Andy .L
