That's a bit harsh. The Club stands were very good with an excellent display of models of all types and all credit to them. I really enjoyed looking at the work on display. Yes, traders were a bit thin on the ground but otherwise it was a great advert for our hobby.

Hi Guys,

Hope this message finds you all well.

I have been slaving away in the kitchen baking cakes for the show.
I tried to post pictures as a teaser but the file was too big.  <*<

I hope you all have a good show.
Looking forward to seeing you all at Beale Park.

Take care

Debs xx

Thanks for the cakes delicious as always.

Can I please order a ginger one for Mayhem

Love Kelly

Well I loved it,  coming from a wargaming background where i helped run some shows I inow how much work and effort goes into something like this. I must say that my greatest overall impression was how friendly everyone was from traders and club folks to my fellow attendees.

I was in awe of some the models and as a noob it was great to see such a variety of stuff on show. Saw inside a model Sub, it's wiring was a work of art

I picked up my Eldergarth kit from MMM, boy what a friendly crew they are  :} , really gave me a lot of confidence in the build.  Spent the night in the hotel going over the packs and I still can't believe how much is in there.

Also picked up a Steam sound system from Action for my Anteo, and a nice couple of books about UK Tugs.

All in all for me and Mrs Baldy a great trip and whilst the show is maybe still on the small side at the moment it's got brilliant potential to grow and IMO its got the foundational stuff just right.

Never got a chance to introduce myself to anyone from Mayhem  <:( , sorry guys I was too much like a kid in a candy store.....

perhaps the earlier poster who complained  about how dull the show was may like to put his name forward to the organising committee to assist for next year. that way he can have a say on what needs to be done to improve it..... somehow i dont think that will happen.

Hello to all

It is always easier to criticize when you do nothing!
Criticize as it is to give people a stomach ache volunteers who work for the pleasure of others

I saw the photos of beautiful boats, and full of traders with whom I made friends
And I saw my friend MIKE hello Mike! ok2
Hopeifloats :-)) :-)) :-)) agree with you

Sorry John but I think you are a little bit to critical of the people who organized
the event and the traders who without them attending we modellers would not
be able to touch and feel the products first hand and pick up items that would
be to expensive or difficult to post, and also thanks to the boat clubs who attended
It may be small but it is growing. O0

Just got back from spending the weekend and I would like to say a big thank you to every one who made the show possible my son and I had a fantastic Sunday and I had a great day on Saterday with Bill and Jeff from my local club. It was great to see so many stalls there with some fantastic products. It was great to see some faces again and even better to meet new people.
We will return again :-)

Ps thanks to Bill for putting up with me for the night :-)

Thanks again guys  :-))
