Lifebelt

Hi does anybody know if a 1/12th scale lifebelt like the style in the enclosed photo is made by anybody if so who and how do I get some. It has to be this style.

is this the style you want....if so, I passed the mould on to Dave metcalf some time ago, who might have by now passed it on to models by design.

I used a Curtain ring made of wood.  Easy to carve out the recesses.

i think cap maquettes do these in large scale too, but this will inovlve overseas postage from france, - macs mouldings do plain  belts which you could carve into...?

 come on John, with all the handmade work you have done on that Mersey,YOU should be able to turn out a couple of those! Make them out of wooden or resin curtain rings my friend,they are exactly the size you want.I can let you have a couple if you want,just drop me an e mail! PS were your ears burning this afternoon?
