It is rail red (bs593) or currant red (bs539) for the bottom of the hull?

For which type of boat? I don't know the exact shade, but although it's a fairly bright red used on the modern boats (Severn, Tamar) it doesn't stay that way for very long when it's put in the water. It turns a pinkish colour.


For any of the displacement hulled boats, but including the Arun, I use Halfords red Primer. I've also seen photographs of Trents with the darker, matt anti foul.


Frankly, I would use the red primer for the anti foul on any of the boats.

Seen 12-33 in storage at Poole last August when at training college.

Kilmore Quay now have a Tamar.

Don't know where Queen mother is, Ryan...and no need to apologise Declan.......I only know about Mary Marge, because I had 10 minutes to kill whilst swmbo was shopping in st annes( not my home station ) and so popped down to the station, the mechanic was washing his car and so I had a quick look around, and noticed the boat was a reserve boat so had a look up topside and saw her name............wouldn't have had a clue otherwise.
