Hi guys,
could some kind soul out there who has built, tried and tested their 1/12
Trent lifeboat, help me with prop size and type & pitch.
I did put 2x62mm 4blade props on but after reading replies to my posts
must agree they are way too big. I have fitted 2 x 35/48/939 outrunners
on 90 amp esc,s. Its the props I really need information on.

Well guys, I am shocked
not a single reply to my post as to what the scale size of props
for a 1/12th Trent should be.

I've just seen your post and braved the snow to take a look in the workshop, i've been gathering parts for a future 1/12th tyne and i've gone for 2 50 mm props powered by 2 E Max GT3520/05 motors when funds allow i shall get a couple of 60 amp seaking esc's, i got the props from prop shop a few years ago at one of the shows. Hope this is some help

 braving the snow? what part of the country are you from?

The scale of the boat is 1/12th  and i decided on that size from the plan i've still got another boat to build before i can start the Tyne, i'm based in Bexhill down on the south coast and for a change we had a fair covering of the white stuff yesterday but it's now thawing quickly.
