I wondered if you would help to promote London Lifeboat Day next week to the wider public. If you use Facebook and/or Twitter (or both), this is a really easy way to spread the word that we’re out and about collecting next Tuesday.
We are trying something we haven’t done before, using an online social networking tool called ‘Thunderclap’. Basically, everyone who signs up to support our Thunderclap will have a message go out on their Facebook page and Twitter feed - at the same time, on the same day. The idea is that collectively, all of our voices together are greater than the sum of their parts.
In order for you to send the message via Facebook or Twitter, you’ll need to enable Thunderclap to access your account, but it’s nothing sinister, and you can always revoke the permission after April 30 has come and gone.
Here’s how to do it. Follow this link https://www.thunderc...tday-30th-april and click on “Support with Twitter”, and/or “Support with Facebook”. Then follow the instructions on screen.
