I'm currently building the Trumpter Bismark.
I painted the deck the suggested Tan colour as recommended in the painting guide that comes with the kit and does not look anything like correct to me. In fact I've given up with painting the deck and purchased a wooden overlay set from Past Time Hobbies in the States, which in IMHO looks far superior.
Plenty of images available on the web showing the many different paint variations the ship went through during it's operational life, a lot of which is un confirmed.
I will be building mine in this colour scheme which I believe was how it looked soon after launch, but who can say for certain? :-

Not mine I'm afraid, just an image found by  Google....I've just got to fitting out R/c equipment stage, prior to fixing main deck into position.

Hi junglelands

You could try this paint range which has just been released:

AK Interactive - German Warships Set # 00559

Everything you need to paint your Bismarck in the right colours.
