i recently emailed newbright toys asking where in the uk i could buy a new 19.2v battery for a supercat speedboat.monday, i recieved a reply from an amazing lady in dorset,manager of newbright uk, informing me it would cost £10.00 plus £2.00 postage. She also asked for my full postal address.
given this is quite a big and heavy battery,i replied with my address and asked for a picture of the battery to confirm it was the right one. next day,yesterday,i recieved an email informing me it had been posted and NOT to pay them anything but make a donation to a charity of my choice.
this now has got me buzzing,who sends something for nothing these days???
i will tell you who,newbright did,it arrived this morning in the post. i have to admit,i am totally bowled over by this service and thought it deserved a mention on here
saturday i shall go up the village and make that donation to one of the charity shops and let her know who benefitted from their generosity
