I am building 1/12 speedline severn and i have the P100 sound unit but I can seam to fine the right sound for the severn
in engine start up and running also stop
has anyone got any ideas where i could get some from

Try asking the guys on this site.....they operate the most perfect Severn with total sound system in every way..........members of the Lifeboat Enthusiast Society, and hopefully they'll be able to help.

Try going to a station and asking if you could record there engines.


Sadly tho on refit the Severn class engines will be changed from the noisy caterpillar engines to the much quieter MTU engines. (Mercedes marine)


So now on our lifeboat all you hear are the tapping of the exhaust flaps.
