ESC Tape
« on: June 03, 2013, 09:16:16 am »

I bought some silicon double sided tape a year ago called "dead man's grip"  Trouble is I can't find it listed anywhere now.  Anyone got any info as to where I can get it?

Unfortunately, the above link is dead and I can't get hold of the listed seller.  Anyone got any other info for another seller of this product.

I also use a line of thin superglue on both sides of foam tape.... just to make double sure!  O0

Just use self adhesive velcro - they make a very good anti-vibration mount, removable for maintenance, and are recommended by the 2.4GHz manufacturers to mount their RXs  :-))

The last time I used 'servo tape' was when self adhesive velcro cost a kings ransom O0

Not the same name but there are many double sided tapes on here including silicone.

If the stuff you are looking for is a version of amalagamating tape try any yacht/ship chandlers this is the stuff that is good for rope whipping (not as nice as whipping twine) and wrapping turn buckles on the standing rigging on real yachts
