Its not just Swans, One of our group had their boat sunk last Sunday by 2 ducks trying to strike up a relationship

What about that other Oz Swan of an alcoholic liquid nature......oh dear off-topic again , sorry. BUT there are a few Black Swans living on the Union Canal near Edinburgh (Scotland), gave me fright one dark night

Listen again , the song is about the Suwanee River in Florida,no swans ...gators got em. ! Anyway my neighbour posted these on her Facebook page this week, half `n half swans from Chile.

those are beautiful looking swans.............I find great peace and tranquillity in bird life ( and before you lot start on miss piggy jokes.........I mean the feathered kind).........and can sit and watch for hours in the back garden at them feeding, and the antics and tricks they get up to......I feel sorry for those who complain when the feathered friends take habitat on their sailing lakes............harmony is a thing that only humans aren't able to achieve.

Neil we have that in common, love birds.
I have a lot of garden and lots of trees. I do everything for the birds like.
Recently pigeons eating in the meadow, a nozzle pitched sky and left with a pigeon.
I had never seen it
The bird protection league wanted to make a bird sanctuary. That's a lot of stress and I said no, unfortunately.
I'm on top of a hill and sometimes in the marsh below, there are hundreds of ducks.

had plenty, Brian, on Fleetwood lake........it's their natural habitat......not mine, or my boat's, and I'm intelligent enough to realise that.

Those of us who realize that it is we who are the ones trespassing into realms which are not our own.
Is more's the pity mankind in general didn't think like this, and be more respectful of earths other environs.
WE don't have the right to "take over" and get annoyed when the native inhabitants "interfere or get in the road" while going about their normal habits.
