Hi Poll
ill be there as usual hope we get a good turn out as my dad having a baking day (lots of cakes ) would just like to say to anyone out there that fancies having a go at tug towing ? that this event is for non tug towers to have a go without been afraid of anyone having a chuckle if it all goe's tugs up if you know what I mean , its not a competition it's a fun day to let people have a go , as so many people come and watch and think I would like to have a go but not with all these experts here. The whole idea of the day is to pair up a pro (well they think they are ) and an amateur in a team so the pro can talk you through the tow , If you cock up who cares were all there to have a great day with a bunch of like minded boating buddies . so come along we have a great time and if you haven't got a tug you think will tow ! then you can use one of ours were here to make sure you have a great day . hope to see you all there we will make you more than welcome . <*< lol

Cheers Nick (rubbish tug tower ) %%

I plan to be there on Saturday and, depending on how it goes maybe on Sunday also :-)) .

I've been to the lake today with Red Merlin and not too many bits fell off and the helm seemed to go where I directed it, more or less %% , so we'll have a go.

Just the small matter of making some sort of hook on which to attach a rope!

Just got to practise, "left, no the other left " :embarrassed: "

As the last one to post on this thread before it fell off the shelf, I hope I did not shout too loudly and create a draught :embarrassed: .

I do find these verification puzzles difficult to read, it's a good job there is a oral prompt!

Sorry, but it was me       :embarrassed:

I have been clearing the old posts of previous meeting announcements  (using one eye !) and it would have been mixed up in that.

Hope all is well now.

Never apologize for tug photos, apologize if they weren't all tugs.

Great photos Jason, and well done to all at Balne Moor for another great towing event.  All that and great cakes too!

I just need now to go in a dark room and practise this dark art of tank steering! I thought left and right were hard enough!!!
