A REAL PLEASURE
« on: July 17, 2013, 03:37:49 pm »

I was passing Fleetwood lake this morning and saw a site I haven't seen for a long time.

a real good friend Kenny.....sailing his 1:32 scale Battle Class destroyer HMS Trafalgar.

She is around 8.5 - 9 foot long from memory, and haven't seen it on the water since it rammed my clyde puffer many years ago..............bending a few bulwark stays and causing us both to wee ourselves with laughter.

To say this destroyer is probably the nicest model I have seen in many many years is an understatement, and it was pure pleasure to see Kenny sailing her again after her long awaited refit.

Good on yer mate..........hope it's not as long before she's sailing again.

neil.
