Tug towing At Balne Moor mbc

   Hi you Tug Towers  Balne Moor mbc are having there end of season Tug tow  Sunday 6th October 11.00am
   Start. There will be Refreshments on, this will be the last chance this season to tow the San George SD14
   then she go's into dry dock for the winter. Pleasw come along and enjoy your selves if only for a chat & to
   watch every body welcome.

Just like to say a big thank you to all who attended the last regatta of the year, was a great turnout and great fun , the cakes were brilliant as usual . hope to see you all next year .

PS would just like to say to all our club members ,we are meeting Saturday 12th for a bit of a get together and some sailing and cakes lol  non members welcome. we are going to extract all the artefacts from the pond on Sunday 13th for renovation . Any one wishing to come along to lend a hand your help would be much appreciated, might be a little cold bring your woollies and your waders .

  Just to put you in the Picture of what's going on with the tow, it's a four man team, three tugs & a Pilot,
  coming out of the lock  there is two tugs tetherd to the tow, bow tug & stern tug, the Pilot then lets the 
  stern tug go, that tug then becomes free running, The Pilot then controlles the team round the course &
  back to Port without hitting any bouys. :-))  Good luck.

  The San George SD 14 is back safe in Port. This is why we at Balne Moor say if you have not got a tug still
   come along & have a go, you could be a Pilot for the day :-))  well theres always 2014.

the stormcock is a wonderful Modell.
Is it possible to put  some more Pictures of it in in here?
Once in my lifetime i should grab my modells and come over for a vist at your place.
