Lake rescue Jet Ski
« on: December 30, 2013, 07:43:21 am »

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I know somewhere I've seen Jet Ski's or similar being used as rescue boats on large freshwater lakes and coastal inshore areas...any ideas, chaps? I'd like to build my Robbe Sea Jet into some sort of a rescue vessel with the blue and red flashing beacons on a small gantry, that sort of thing.

The RNLI lifesaving teams and beach patrols
use them around our coasts.
There was a TV series showing the teams at
Perranporth I believe.
Gordon (Regiment) would probably know about it.

cop Wet bike with flashing blues and twos
robbed from a £ shop toy police car %)

Thanks guys, I did manage to find a photo of a Police version which looks kind of interesting...no flashing lights, though.  <:(

Or I could just do my own thing with it...at least if it looks like something that could be around somewhere in the world, I can claim it's a scale model, and I'd be able to run it on my local lake again. (I got banned from running my last one on the club lake, they said it was too fast...)
