rnli severn class 2.4ghz boat
« on: January 04, 2014, 11:10:48 am »

just a quick query, does anybody else have this little oddity?
when both tx and rx are switched on,if i use the forward, reverse stick first, then apply left/right,the boat works fine.
if i push the left/right on its own,the boat goes forward and backwards with both props running the same.
seems a bit odd, just wondered if it was a normal characteristic, cheers

this is the model i bought recently in the rnli shop at falmouth.

Yes I have it, Yes it basically  turns on it on access using the left or right on its own.  Props are a left and right type.  Tested it at beyond its range with no probs ( Mind you no other boats on the pond at the time), could do with a tad more speed.
