Is it interesting to clubs, yes, but most members do not like the
powder burns left on the deck of the model after a display has finished.

Be careful.
I used to do a smoke, 2 flare port, 2 flare starboard, 25 salvo, and finish with 12 flare and report.
I always made sure the display was clear out in the center of the pond.
Despite that caution for safety, there were incidents where a wild shot would leap out to the crowd.
Keep all aerial displays as close to vertical as possible.
Even done "safely", pyrotechnics are unpredictable.
Manual safety switches for power circuits or saftey keys are a must.
Mine also required two servos to activate. The first servo sounded a horn and made
the circuit hot, the second servo would ignite the five or six displays across consecutive switches.
A fourth safety was that I never moved the ship to or from the water with the ignition wires connected.
The last thing you want is to lean over your boat to set it in the water, and have the pyros ignite.
Be safe.
