One of my newly acquired models. This is the R M S "Queen Mary" entirely scratch built,by my good friend the Late Wilf Burrows of Falmouth. I understand it took him the best part of 15 years to build. It is fully radio controlled, with operating anchors,an original recording of the Queen Mary Foghorn, fully lit, with four operating Renault car heater motors as propulsion. She is 9 feet 3 inches long, and has not been seen for over 10 years, and never before outside of Cornwall. I am so very proud to be her new owner, and to display her.

Another superb model now in my possession, and again entirely scratch built, taking some 11 years to complete by the late Wilf Burrows of Falmouth
this is the Cunard Liner  "Queen Elizabeth 2"
She is over 8 feet long, and again is highly detailed and fully radio controlled. Powered by two Renault car heater motors.
She has working stabilisers, and is fully lit.
I was always promised by Wilf that should he ever decide to sell them,I would be offered 1st choice. His son inherited them when he passed, and was kind enough to honour that when he reluctantly decided to prune his collection. I am indebted to both Father and Son for allowing me the privilige of now owning and displaying these model. Again, she received a great deal of admiration at the Brighton show, being the first time displayed outside of Cornwall.
I hope to exhibit them both at the Blackpool show in October

I  saw both of these models at Brighton and they are certainly very impressive, many thanks to Mick for putting them on show for the public to enjoy.

There will be a write up in Model Boats in due course and, Mick I haven't forgotten about sending you my photos, just a bit busy with other things at the moment! They will come.

Thanks Rod,Good to hear from you my friend.I am making every effort to get them up to Blackpool. I can only do too shows with them Blackpool and Brighton. We would use the camper at Warwick, but would have to stay in B & B on the last night and thats ruddy expensive there!

ROTWEILLER
he has a hotel very well in RUGBY which is not dear (half of the B*B ) and you can sleep in two in the chamber.
There are many designers
Rugby is not too much far from Warwick.
