Hi. Would any Model Boat Owners like to 'get their bottoms wet' at the Chippenham River Festival, Sat 19th July 2014?
For some reason the website has reverted to last year's page, however it will give you an idea of what will be happening, go to:

Will you be able to get your boats on the river? Hopefully yes (at your risk of course), one previous year there was so little flow that the Duck Race and the Beer Barrel Race both had to be abandoned - the ducks drifted to sides and stopped, while the barrels were being blown upstream rather than carried downstream by the current! 
You will see from the website that there are plans for swimmers, '12" to the foot' trip boats and canoes in the river, but I know that space can be found for you. Alternatively can you bring a tank of some description?
