Did you check the reciever? Change plug from ESC to one port where the servo works.

What kind of battery are you using?
Some ESC shut down the motor if the voltage is too low, I don´t believe this one to have lipo-cut off but maybe the battery fell below 6V?

You can also measure the output voltage with a simple multimeter.

Any possibility to reset the controller and program it newly?

The quick 'n' dirty technique advised by an old school auto elec….

With it all setup ready to go…

Wiggle each wire one by one in turn.

Moving on from there, I assume that you do not have a separate battery for the receiver, and consequently because the servos are functioning, the motor connecting wires and any joints connections therein are now suspect - check and remake those joints or connections - and now retest the setup for function.

Bear in mind that these Tornado controllers are not of the highest quality, and pretty much the only QC is you the customer - their 50A rating does seem wildly optimistic compared to much lower ratings from Electronize and Mtroniks.

Hi all

Quick check on this website about the speed controller

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tornado-50amp-Controller-Remote-Control/dp/B00438ARVC

it seems that if this is the speed controller we are referring to - it closes the power off to the main motors; if the main battery power drops too low.

So I wonder, beforehand, did you leave the power on before you arrived at the actual lake?

A photo of the installation may help us to help you, here.
