I had all intentions of going, until this morning, to pick out a new project, now circumstances conspire to stop me. Perhaps I'll get there next time. Enjoy yourselves.

Sorry good ole me forgot to take my camera, plenty of people taking photo`s from mayhem members, would recommend (when your foot is better) a visit to the new workshop, lots of people said a lot better and very open planned. A lot of work and thought has gone into this so all I can say is WELL DONE  Ron Dean & helpers. Great venue will only get bigger

P.S. I can see the pool getting bigger

Excellent day out to Peterborough.  The new building is really great.  Lots of exciting new things in development.
Sorry, I too forgot the camera, which is a pity because there was a part built HMS Polyphemus which not only had working bow rudders - but they retracted too!  A working Russian Novrogod circular warship, submarine X1, HMS Gnat, plus an awesome HMS Dreadnaught.  Highlight of the day was of course Deans staff and helpers doing the water bucket thing in the pond to raise money for RNLI.

10am I think. Well worth a visit if you haven't been. I was there yesterday afternoon and this morning for the first time and I assure you that you won't be bored! Some nice things to buy in the shop and on the Mobile Marine Models and ScaleFlags stands too.

Hi to, Bob K and everyone else, who came to the Deans marine open weekend!

Thanks for the interest shown, in the circular thing, and the under construction Polyphemus. It was great chatting to you!
Bob, If you are still interested in building Novgorod, I can put a photo and plans data file together for you.
Or if you can wait a little while it will be available as grp mouldings and a fittings kit next year.....time allowing, I have so much stuff to do!

That is, if I ever fully recover from the Dean family Saturday night entertainment spectacular %%
Some superb Russian vodka was consumed, along with some bizarre face, finger nail and hog roast decoration {-) in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Regards
