Maiden voyage
« on: September 14, 2014, 07:12:55 pm »

Hi everyone,
Just got my home-made trimaran wet for the first time. Based on a plan from the book "Ten Simple Sailing Models" by Frank Wilson which I got on special from My Hobby Store (still available). Size was increased to 36" OAL, blade keel and rudder were "imagineered" as the plan is for free sailing - no rudder, keel the wrong shape. Sail plan is borrowed from JIF 65. I am going to try to attach a couple of pictures, please don't laugh if it doesn't work - first attempt.
All the best John K.

Very nice John :-))  I imagine you'd want to keep away from that fountain, though :o
