Is there anyone on here who would be interested in building a hull/deck (out of wood...mainly balsa and Lite Ply) from one of Glynn Guest's plans for me?
I have the plan, plus the magazine build article that came with it. It's not a huge boat by any means, around 30" if I remember correctly, and to someone with wood building skills, I guess it would be a relatively easy build.
"Why not build it yourself" I guess you're saying...if my hands would let me, I would have a go, but to start with I don't like working with wood, and secondly, my hands/fingers are getting worse by the day. I'm having trouble assembling a plastic kit now, let alone scratch building a hull.
If possible, I'd like the boat finished as far as the priming stage, I can still handle a rattle can to paint it.
I can pay by cash, cheque or paypal if anyone is interested?
Let me know...
Rich
Oh...the boat is Glynn's "Lady Helen", a freelance Sealink cross channel ferry.
