There are a couple of good pics of the MkVII 40mm mount here. http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNUS_4cm-56_mk12_pics.htm
The 40mm fitted to the Ton class vessels are the same as those fitted to Brave Borderer/Perkasa which are available in 1/48th from Battlecraft. http://www.battlecrafts.co.uk/index.php/component/search/?searchword=1/48th%20Scale&searchphrase=all&Itemid=103

Hi guys, has anyone out there got the article Frank was referring to in the Sept. 1992
Edition of MB that they could possibly scan and Email to me or sell me the mag as at
The moment I am trying to gather as much info on HMS Iveston/Ton class mine hunters,
As possible to save having to make changes to the build at a later stage due to lack of correct info.

Much apriciated

The article was reprinted recently in a MB Plan Features Special or some such, the one with Glynn Guest's HMS Sheffield on the cover.  You should be able to get it as a back issue or off fleabay.
Just looked it up, Myhobbystore has copies for  £2.50.     http://www.myhobbystore.co.uk/product/60186/model-boats-plan-features-special-2012

You're welcome, I've got a Ton Class on my build list but in 1/72nd scale.  Thinking about a Dragon Squadron version with two 40mm mounts and reduced mine gear.
