 Dear Martin
I am in charge of the model boats section of Bradford Model Engineering Society.
In late January this year we had the misfortune of having our clubhouse vandalised and set on fire, to the point that it is now a write-off.
The attached web link shows the sorry state we were left in.
http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/local/localbrad/11766874.VIDEO__Arson_attack_destroys_clubhouse_of_Bradford_model_boating_club/
We are in the process of negotiation for new premises but our library, which had a complete set of issues starting from the very first and right up to the present was completely destroyed.
The library consisted of Model Boats, Marine Modelling International , Model Maker,Model Engineer and Engineering in Miniature.
If any of your members have unwanted copies or volumes, we would be pleased to give them a good home.
Best wishes
Peter M Nurse

Hi Peter - Sorry to hear of your plight - I have Model Boats magazine Jan to Dec 2011 in a binder - you're welcome to them if that would be of any help.

PM me your address and I'll get them off to you.  :-))

Isn't it a shame that the scum responsible did not get burnt alive whilst doing this!

We thought we were secure because our clubhouse is surrounded by a 2 metre high steel fence with locked gates.

I am sorry I did not read this until now because I have just dumped 15 years of marine modeller International and 6 years of Model Boat magazines. If I  only knew I would have given them to you

Hi, Peter.  I have lots of Model Boats, Marine Modelling International, Model Engineer and Engineering in Miniature. which I am just starting to sort through for disposal. You are welcome to these. I can send you a rough list if required.  There are so many that collection would probably be the best option.
