Hi Baloo,
I think you are barking up the wrong tree :((  Nothing on the Speedline Website suggest they can supply what you want. On the other hand, Models by Design will supply a Clyde Class Hull and lots of fittings. Maybe you should try contacting them?

Hi Charlie, I have it on good authority that "Speedline models" have got the moulds for the Clyde lifeboat.

Maybe you could try ringing him during the day? I don't blame him for not picking up work related calls at 7.30pm.....

In that case it sounds like it's time to find an alternative supplier {-)

It looks like a lot more time in making the bits required, just annoys me that you have a supplier that has got the moulds and you can't get hold of the person.

He may have the moulds, but since he is not advertising these items for sale anywhere on his website, maybe he isn't able to supply you at the moment. Like any other business, he has to prioritise his available time to customers, and if he is not in the business of supplying you with what you want, you are not a potential customer, which is possibly why he hasn't contacted you so far.

Last post was a bit tongue in cheek Martin.
I would hazard a guess that Neil made the moulds
when the Loch Ness project was on.
Surely at 1/12 scale (lifeboat  standard) fittings are not too
difficult to build from scratch
We are modellers after all.

Ned

indeed I did Ned........I sold them to Adrian with copyright for a pint of diet pepsi at the waterside inn, barrow on soar some years ago so that if they were plagiarised he would be able to quickly do something.......and he said to me on the day that if anyone wanted a set he would cast them for the customer wanting them???

sadly this doesn't seem to be holding, unless he has sold them on to someone else?

but it doesn't excuse the lack of contact with a potential customer, does it. <*< <*< <*<

A brief reply such as "We are unable to supply these parts" would take little time to compose and send. In this particular case it would have avoided unwarranted public criticism. Silence can be construed as ignorant and rude; I'm sure Adrian is neither.
