Have-a-Go boat pool available in London? (BBC)
« on: May 18, 2015, 01:45:03 pm »

Here's something a bit different ( via email)

Hi Martin,

We like the look of the  Av-A-Go Model Boat pool. Which the  Manx Model Boat Club have  I’m looking into the feasibility of use one for the one show in London. We could potentially have an audience of boating enthusiasts with their remote controlled boats on the show this Wednesday 20th.

Is there one nearer London we could use or hire?
Thanks,
A

...and , oh we`ll need a Titanic  , a few submarines, a Spitfire and a helicopter on floats.   Maybe you guys could knock-out a few harbour-side buildings with cranes and stuff....Oh yes a pirate ship would be good ... >>:-(  Forget it lads, I speak from experience .   A couple months and we could give them a show not a p**s-take, sorry MIStake.  Short notice ? How about them coming to Mayhem Weekend instead ?

I`ve made other arrangements thank you :kiss:  You DID suggest they went to Mayhem Weekend of course ? %)  When you think of the Beebs new location  (oop north in Salford on a nice bit of sailing water etc etc) one wonders why they need a piddling ...PADDLEING pool IN the studio {:-{

Those very large inflatable pools are made in China. I don't now of anyone supplying them here for sale or hire.

You won`t get much change from a 1K for some thing like than and the zorb pools are twice the price.
