Think servo but instead of going round it pushes a rod back and forward through its body.
I'm in need of two small ones about the size of a servo as it happens. Can anyone suggest a supplier please. The only ones I have turned up are 'scientific' 'cutting edge' etc etc with prices in the eye watering range.

Wow thanks guys. This forum always comes up trumps. I would never even considered they are fitted to helicopters.

Careful: most of these are really tiny. Throw is going to be +/- 4mm. They are intended for conversion of rubber-band propelled planed to full RC.
What kind of throw and torque do you need ?

I need a maximum of 12mm of linear pull, not sure of the torque I require, I'll have to do a scale test on the springs before I order them. One of those links from Klunk offered enough pull but I'm not sure about the torque.
