« on: May 31, 2015, 09:40:00 pm »

Feb. I was given a Billing wooden Trawler some work done on it but not much I 've worked on it and it is almost ready to run still looking for information on the boat the plan was dated 15-1-1966 the bow shows the #E750 the top of plan shows
TRAWLER
           FRA
SKIBS OG  BADEBYGGERIET
    C.ANDERSEN
       FAABORG
I've looked at the Billing site but have not found a match also looked on Google still nothing is there anywhere else to look maybe someone has a reference area.

Hi, It sounds like you've got the Billings Progress trawler. There is a you tube video of of one. search Billings boat progress to check.
Model boats magazine did some build articles on this in the 1960s which I still have somewhere.
If this is the correct one I can find and scan them for you if that will help.
 Charles.

Hi again, glad we got it right. I'll look for the old articles tomorrow  and scan them asap. The Progress was a nice boat to sail as I remember.

chas - - would you send me the files as well?  I just bought one at a yard sale today.  I'm told it's 50-60 years old and it's a Progress E750.  It has some damage to the stern rigging I need to repair and photos or plans would help tremendously.  Many thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Thanks.  Between that and some frames I grabbed off the youtube video, I should be able to figure the rigging out.

Found this elsewhere on this site  [http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=14995.0]
It's the Progress E750.  Different color scheme than mine but everything else is the same.
