Mindful of Richard Huggett's recent experience, be careful to read the full description of the kit contents. If you are expecting die-cut or CNC-cut parts then you'll be disappointed. Lawrie and Jackie have re-introduced this as a "Templates and Materials" pack, at least in relation to the parts which were previously die-cut.
There is no intent to deceive here, and there are some very sound reasons why the change has come about.
The kit will build up into the same excellent model as it always did - it's just that you will need to put in some extra time tracing and cutting out those parts which were previously done for you.
It's called modelling, and it's what we do!

E-Bay is a very strange beast. We have a greenhouse which I would cheerfully have paid to have dismantled and taken away, but I stuck it on E-Bay for a ton - for the hell of it. It just fetched £570! I've seen S/H ACTion units go for more than the new price yet my £500 Parat kit with all the bits didn't even scrape £300. It's probably as much to do with the weather as anything predictable.

you are right dave............I can regularly buy a book on abe for half the price that one on ebay will fetch, but something's become subject to a bidding frenzy and go way and above either what you expect or even dream of.............one such item that always sells for more than new ones are electronise esc's............don't know why, but it's crazy...........

we had a spate a while back when the little rnli severn lifeboats were selling well into 3 figures, and yet you could still find them in shops.........think that's why the rnli re introduced them............crazy people in a crazier world. %% %%

I once say a piece of nylon rope, barely 8 inches long and a jar of sand off hastings beach thrown in go for nearly 12 quid...............someone must have been homesick....................but the mind boggles.
