On behalf of Kirklees Model Boat Club I would like to thank all model boat clubs and individuals that attended our open day and once again made the day a success and also the support given by the traders to this event. Final set of pictures included from the event.

Hi Guys just to round off this event our local RNLI branch came to the park this morning.  The picture shows our club secretary presenting a cheque to the Mirfield RNLI representative.

Hi Guys just had to post this one. I have  been PR officer at Kirklees for over 24 years and this is the job they gave me at our open day just before our guests arrived.

That's OK Stan........it called the need for 'multi tasking'..... O0..... I am the humble Secretary for our Live Steamers & quite often I am found soldering the wires for the point signals or digging the weeds...... {-)...all good fun.......... Derek

I would like to thank you all for your comments on our open day. It takes a lot of organising and again we had good weather for this event making it all worth while. Many thanks also to Martin for the use of this site to promote our events.
