Hi Bank holiday monday very wet in Chatham . I am about to go into my loft & clear out many years of Model Boat & Marine Modelling Magazines . I suspect I will end up taking them to the recycling site . There must be lots of modellers in the same situation . Any local takers ?   John

Yes.  Most of us have been in this situation.

The problem being that they cost more to post than they are worth.  It's best to bring them to meetings so that they are not destroyed forever and may bring joy to future owners.    :-))

Cheers

Hi John - I'd certainly be interested in any early model boat magazines, 1960's and earlier if you have any?

Lived local to you years ago but do still get down to Kent occasionally...

Also on the look out for early Model Maker magazines if anyone has any??

Hi

I've been trying to track down a copy of the June 2011 Model Boats (featuring the build article for Glynn Guest's stand off Vosper MTB) - Id be more than happy to take that off your hands - willing to pay to cover the postage etc obviously!

I think Marine Modelling have also done a couple of issues - one with a Vosper 73ft MTB, and one with MTB102...I'd be happy to give these a home also?
