motor cooling
« on: September 10, 2015, 08:34:17 am »

Just been trawling the net, and checking out some other pics and builds, and saw some photos of engine installations on real boats...............now how cool would it be for someone to produce a cooling jacket for electric motors, that actually looked like a diesel or petrol engine?

I feel another project coming on.......

Not a cooling jacket as far as I know, but these were fitted to my mum's boat in the '50's

(Edit - photo added)

She worked for a local model engineers (Stewart-Reidpath - they made mostly trains).

Them's the sort of things Furball......think they look much better than a pair of bare electric motors.
