I think Royal Daffodil may have been a Denny built ship in which case the plans are held by the National Maritime Museum.

Colin - Do you know if the NMM are the custodians of ALL the Denny drawings?

I will be looking for a few Sealink ship drawings soon................

Cheers
Carl

Glasgow University Archives used to hold the Denny Collection of papers including plans.

The NMM did receive the main Denny plans collection and a catalogue was compiled by David Lyon when he worked at the museum back in the 1970s which was published in four volumes as 'The Denny List'. I have three of these but can't look at them at the moment as I am not in the UK. I bought the plans for ms Shanklin from the NMM.
As Mudway says, I think that Glasgow University may also hold drawings as I seem to recall somebody mentioning that they were cheaper!

Search here http://archiveshub.ac.uk/search/search.html   on 'Glasgow University Archives Service' and 'Royal Daffodil' and you will find a lot of info.

I have used GUAS in the past and found the staff very helpful.
