Brendan Rodgers has suffered the manager's fate by being sacked for poor performances from his players, but there's only so much a manager can do. Once the players step on to the pitch how they perform is up to them. I know Liverpool has not been going well, but to sack a manager after a Merseyside derby, at Goodison, which resulted in a draw, is very harsh. Jurgen Klopp seems the likely replacement for Rodgers and, while he has an impressive record, it will be interesting to see the Kop's reaction to him.
