Best way to stop the cat spitting......put a lid on the pan!

Postman Pat, Postman Pat ran over his cat!
Poor old Pat was shattered, and the cat was flattered

hi there all

One way to begin your day:  We have been a family who have had cats for a very very long time and the two who stayed with us the longest one 22 nearly 23 and the last one ginger and white we had her for 20 years and sadly last year he popped off.

Anyway, we said NO MORE PETS - 3 rabbits, 2 cats and a goldfish....we lost the goldfish shortly after the cat SO NO MORE PETS - Rusty ginger was a character and a half.

here though the story begins.....the next door neighbour is also an amimal lover - he originally had 4 dogs and 2 cats - and he came in one day with another cat which he had rescued from his dad's neighbour - because they used to beat it and bash it....anyway Kevin our neighbour had a big fight with them and said he was taking her to live with him.     The cat couldnt settle with the dogs and in the end she lived outside......eventually taking refuge in the Mrs' greenhouse where she started to feed her - anyway she has eventually wormed her way into the house (so has the cat  :D {-)) and she will not leave - we have spoken to Kevin the neighbour on numerous occasions and he said he doesnt mind her staying here - a cat will choose her own owner  :embarrassed: ::)

This is fine....okay and she is starting to become part of the family - until the findings this fine morning - bear in mind the house is fitted with a cat flap and we are training her to use it......she can come in , but by hell she wont go out through it - you put her through the front door and she comes back quick through the back door (cat flap)....

anyway, she doesnt like to be outside no more............  :-\ :-\ :-\

We have a 1000 piece jigsaw under way on the sitting room table - so, the Mrs gets up and she thought I had made her a dark wooden ornament in the hearth (similar to Stonehenge in shapes) it turned out to be 'shine a light' present from our new feline!

I turned round to pick the jigsaw box lid up with all the pieces in it - only to find she had used that lid as a toilet tray - wetty!

Here she is ......  jigsaw in bin, she Queen still .......... but by God she is out tonight  O0 :)

Here are my four queens, First is Shelley then Molly, Rosie and Megan. The last three are all rescue cats from local shelters and Molly was dumped on my friends farm in a terrible condition.

Here are 2 shots of our cat Oscar. One shows him doing what he does best, sleeping, and the other is of a more active moment, he is actually standing up. Mind you, he is almost 14 years old so I suppose he is entitled to take it easy.

I referred to him as "our" cat, but he's really our daughter's. In 1996 she decided she HAD to have a cat,  ::) so got one for free, then 6 months later she decided to go off to London to work for 2 years, and we were asked to mind the cat. Over 13 years later, we are still minding the cat, so I suppose he really is ours now.  {-)

He is Footski, and as they say, dogs have owners, cats have servants, and Oscar has two of them  :) (servants that is)
