The Lady Wife and I
play with sail our boats on the local pond (which apparently measures about 40 x 20 metres so is a good size but not huge), and so far there's never been anybody else there when we are. But there will be, so we were wondering what the etiquette is.
If we turn up with our little Springers and there's somebody there with a 4ft long model of the Hood cruising majestically about, say, or with a little hydroplane whizzing all over the place at a scale Mach 1, what's the form? Do we say "Mind if we
play sail too?" and offer to stick to one end, or what?
Also, what's the collision-avoidance rules? When approaching head on turn right? And what else?

We really haven't a clue ...
