Yes I bought a couple once from CMB, they were made by Graupner, probably why you don't see them now.

I have just had a trawl round inter web and came up with this
https://www.mikes-models.co.uk/index.php/manufacturer/graupner-sj/radio-controlled-models/boats/marine-accessories/prop-shafts.html
A phone call might not go amiss .

Just came across this it's for a 9mm tube but would most likely fit a 8mm, http://www.prestwich.ndirect.co.uk  it's listed under flexishafts/rudders etc.

You did, Ned, but mine were very kindly supplied by 'Welsh Wizard' (Dai Edgell) of the Barry club. They are the Graupner type and there's very little depth of the bracket below the prop tube. I fitted each in less than five minutes.

Thanks to everyone for their inputs  Not to worry Barry  thanks for looking. Radiojoe they look good  might be able to make em fit look as though it'll go under the tube  and perhaps make a shim to take up any slack
