No. Watt is a unit of power.
This is a link http://www.lynnnews.co.uk/what-s-on/lifestyle-leisure/water-ski-race-creates-splash-at-hunstanton-launch-1-7440449
and it strongly suggests that those are not model boats at all.
100mph on water-skis? Nutters!

Hi to Martin and others who have replied  yes they are not small models, but the real thing, in the videos it does not do the sound justice be cause when they pass you at only  50 ft away when there are 2  3 or 4 together, I think  our local RAF jet planes make less noise, it sounds like some of the larger boats have V8 engines fitted.  also they are towing skiers but they are approx. 150 meters behind the boat out of prop wash so many shots only capture the boat.  Malcolm

Hi  Martin    yes I had camera with me today,  I managed to get some film, also several large rooster tail bits, by heck they are fast, some shots across the river when boats are going up river this side, and down river on the other side the combined speed of nearly 200 mph it is very impressive. I will take some more tomorrow and try to upload it if I can.   malcolm

Hi  did  anybody come to watch the ski boat  racing on the river Great Ouse today, with all the other free attractions going on in town it has been a wonderful end to the Kings Lynn festival, the racing was incredible,  I  do hope it becomes a regular event, this was year two of racing on our river.   Malcolm
