Recent newspaper reports suggest that 3D printers could be used to make hair follicles to cure baldness. Now, if that proves to be true then the market will explode....

Perhaps a couple of (our) generations down the road will see that happening.

I had a call from a lad in our local club, asking if I could print some parts for him. When I asked him if he had .stl files for the bits, he was surprised. He had in his mind that we would only need a picture and the machine would do the rest.

I have just seen in the Practical boat owner about criminals using 3D printers to make replica security tags for containers . Some one always finds a new scam .
