I like to use 2mm clear plastic sheet.  It can fixed in with  'cockpit glue'  as this will not  'bloom'  the plastic like other makes tend to do.

Thanks ken, Been looking on ebay got plenty of windows to glaze so it looks like it will cost a bit lol

Acetate sheet from packaging or document folders from stationers. Plain or coloured. Works at treat  :-))

CD cases. Easy to shape, easy to glue, very cheap and easily available.

I have used CD cases in the past and while I agree that it is a good material to work with (and cheap) I do find it tends to scratch very easily. I now tend to use clear plastic.
