On the 29th/30th April 2017 Kinglear model boat club is supporting a club member to do a 24 hour endurance at Kinglear lake,watermead country park,leicester,LE7 1PD.This event is to raise funds for a much needed new crew building for PENLEE Lifeboat Station.Start time 1pm on the Saturday and finish 1pm on the sunday, all welcome to come along with or without a boat and support this worthy event.Tea and coffee available,toilets in the park and two pubs not far away,please note there is a £2.50 entry to the country park payable at the barrier.many thanks.
