Hi guys this may be a silly question I have cut out my ribs per profile drawing and all the forward ribs are curved at the top my question is shouldn't they be flat to take the deck thanks in advance

Most real ships and boats have curved deck camber to drain the water.
You can take the extra time to build up the curved deck, however many modelers will
build the decks flat to allow easier construction, and interior access to running gear.
