Straight edge
« on: June 29, 2018, 05:18:42 pm »

Hi,

As the usual supports to support the cabin sides did not work I tried a couple of 75mm Welding clamps.

They are magnetic and have multiple angles.

Regards

For some unknown reason, the site likes to minimize the size of some copy and pastes.  If you catch the "Edit" fast enough, you can edit out the unwanted resize instructions, otherwise it means going through notepad.

Hi,

That is the welding clamp.

This time I have attached a photo.

I use mine on top of the toolbox and as they are magnetic they hold the bottom sheet firm.

behind the work I have a section of right angled steel and again the clamps hold it tight.

I have had some of that style of magnetic welding clamp for many years, they are great for welding RHS steel at right angles. I used them regularly for work on the farm.

TT, try Googling "magnetic welding clamp".
