I have just been watching on TV Ch 5 a dated Road Wars Police incidents.  I am watching this biker the lower screen has the speed of 125 mph and yet all the traffic is just moving along as per normal.  A small white van on the clip  would be pushing it to get to 100mph, but there on the clip everyone is doing 120+ mph.
I would be happy to defend him in court if only he had a license and insurance and......it goes on.
Is it just me or does everyone accept these clear discrepancies of what is shown on some of these clips?
regards

They're all getting crafty. They usually say "XXXXYYYY - New to Channel 5/6/7/99.5" But not new to all the other channels that have shown it before.

I think episode 4 or 5 has my ex-colleague Project Engineer when he moved to Bibby.  It was not long before Bibby's problems with the Topaz running aground then having the DP run-off and infamous diving accident (I think it was the Sapphire in the show though).  I remember the guy saying to me he was on the show for a few seconds in the end -and to take it with a pinch of salt, it was mostly staged.  But what TV isn't these days?  It wasn't a great time for Bibby if I recall they had lots of problems.

As for "NEW" -that's been going on for years.  Moreso now that theres more chnnels than new content to fill.  If it's "new to their channel" it's still branded "new" -clickbait etc.

we tend to "tape" programs (tivo is a great invention when it works) and we were watching the susan calman series where she travels around the country in a 2000 T reg tic tic camper van (my dad one of these vans - 900cc and also had an accident in it) , the show showed the windermere model boat club.

As a consequence of retirement and lockdown I'm now familiar with every over 50 plan and their pathetic actors reading crap. I am surprised at  Daniels and  Vorderman being so destitute to get involved with these tripe adverts.

It's June dad, no its only February! This came for you by mistake next door  >>:-( .........

Watching last night...... A Touch of Frost...."Nothing to Hide" .......goodness knows what Series or episode......but Frosty is still such good value O0

Someone should have noticed the dead left hand rear brake light in his little Blue 4 door sedan
----------------
on Tuestday, Foyles War.......[Foyles son had adjust returned back to UK but without his Pilots Licence] ... Inspector Foyle & his driver got into the little Black Wolsley 4 sedan?.....or it could have been a 1935 Wasp 1069 cc  sedan?.......the footage was shot from the front LH 1/4, and the engine radiator grill was fine diagonal crossed mesh.........when the vehicle stopped  %)  the grill had changed to the blacked out thin vertical slats

However when I view older Wolsley/Morris vehicles I see repeatedly the Trade Marked 'type' vertical slats of the Wolsley grill.....so suspect the meshy image may have been a camera angle swish......giving the impression that the fine verticals are diagonal :embarrassed:
