Can anyone identify this boat?
« on: December 08, 2020, 08:32:34 pm »

A friend of mine has contacted me, asking whether I would restore a model boat that belonged to his mother, who died some fifteen years ago, so that it will be available for future generations of children to enjoy. At the moment all I have are the photos below and wondered whether, from these, anyone has any idea how this model started life and whether from plans or a kit. Obviously I'll know more when I have the boat in my hands, which will probably be after Christmas, but in the meantime I'd like to make a start with the research if I can.
Any help or advice gratefully received...  O0

That's brilliant, thank you very much indeed !  :-))   There appear to be various threads and info on the Internet about the model which will hopefully help me as I go along and with luck I'll be able to get it going again for him. I'll let you know how it goes. :-)
